To adjust your notification settings and unsubscribe from the newsletter, follow these steps:

1. Sign in to the platform

2. Click on your name in the top right corner of the menu and select Settings.
3. Go to “Notifications.”
4. Under “I would like to be notified when...” you can set when you would like to receive notifications from the platform. Here you can choose which activities should notify you. When there is a notification, the bell icon in the top right corner of the menu turns yellow. If you click on it, you can view the notifications.
5. For email notifications: If you enable this option, you'll also receive an email each time you receive a notification. Otherwise, you'll only receive email notifications when someone wants to contact you or when a change has been made to a platform feature that directly affects you (for example, when your submitted idea has received an official response
).
6. For the newsletter: If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter to stay up to date with news about the e-participation platform, you can activate this option. Otherwise, you can deactivate them to unsubscribe from the newsletter.
7. To receive direct messages from all users, turn on the option “Receive direct messages from everyone.” This allows all platform users to write to you via the conversation function. Otherwise, only users you follow can write to you. You can follow users by clicking on “Follow” on their profile.
8. After you've adjusted the settings, don't forget to click “Save Changes” to apply the changes.
