Data protection

The platform stores two types of data:

1. Personal data: This data includes your personal information, such as your email address or password. This data is stored in encrypted form and passwords are never visible from outside

All platform data is stored by web provider Hetzner on their own servers in XX. For more information on how the data is used, please see the privacy policy.

You can always see what data the platform stores about you by exporting all your generated content. This allows you to download all information related to your activity on the platform, such as your comments and posts. Your profile information, such as your password, is stored in encrypted form and cannot be downloaded.

Data that is automatically transferred when you connect to the platform (such as your IP address, MAC address, or cookie settings) cannot be downloaded. For more information about this data, see the privacy policy.

Procedure:

1. Sign in to the platform.
2. In the top-right menu, click on your name and select “Settings.”
3. Click on “My details.”
4. Click on “Request data.”
5. The platform will confirm the email delivery for you.
6. When you receive it, open the email attachment.
7. The associated .zip file is heavily encrypted and can only be opened with open-source unpacking software, such as 7-Zip (for Windows), Keka (for macOS) or PeaZip (for Linux). Enter the password in the email to open the file.
