House topics for a good coexistence
Unreasonable conditions
I am in favour of equipping garages, cellars, entrances, elevators, common areas and stairwells with a video camera!
I don't see that people who appreciate this house (we can do that with all the equipment here) should pay more just because there are real idiots who don't keep it clean!
Who is in favour: Thumbs up!

Continuation of property management answer:
“I can guarantee that video surveillance is not the solution. We have these in other buildings and the chance of finding the perpetrators is very low. According to the data protection authority, the recording may only be stored for a few hours, which means that we would have to commission an external company to carry out continuous monitoring. The costs for this amount to around €40,000-60,000 per year. The equipment of the entire residential complex with cameras is at least as much. The people are usually not easily recognizable on the videos or cannot then be found.
We have already considered locking and constantly booking common areas internally, but this requires a change in the locking system, which is associated with costs. As soon as we have saved the necessary funds on the account of the maintenance and improvement contribution, this project can be implemented.”
“We are planning a workshop for residents in autumn and a house meeting at the beginning of next year. These topics will be addressed on both dates and hope that this will improve the situation.
sincerely
